2. Web-publishing (webmastering) main Responsibilities: Website construction Website design Website maintenance Search engine optimization (SEO)
3. Major Resources under IT Administrator (management and maintenance): Entire Jesus Work Website Software/Applications Storage Networking Internet/Intranet Outsourcing/Services Desktops/Clients (PCs/Notebooks/Workstations) Peripheral Equipment
a) Major software and applications include Windows operating systems, website design and management, and Microsoft Office suite. It also includes security software and hardware: firewall, antivirus, intrusion detection systems, anti-spam and anti-spyware
b) Major storage media include network attached storage drives and removable media (DVD/CDR/Flash)
c) Major networking resources and services include LAN, wireless LAN, modems/switches/routers/hubs, remote access, fast ethernet/gigabit, VoIP and network management software
d) Major peripherals include printers, monitors, scanners and power back-ups
4. Constant liaison with Ministry Pastor and key staff in aligning IT responsibilities with mission and purpose of the Ministry.
5. Required Skills A willingness to work in one accord with key Ministry staff Upholding the evangelical Christian faith -See Statement of Faith Understanding of published content of the Ministry and how it can be effectively managed Compliance with biblical, legal and general ethical obligations applicable to IT Minimum computer skills: Basic programming, HTML, Java, advanced webmastering certification, data processing (including Microsoft Access Dbase Management), computer graphics, system design and analysis, and so on. Minimum IT qualifications: Computer science or IT Associates Degree. Computer science bachelors’ degree combined with other social science and bible school qualifications a big plus.
